31st October is the 305th day of the year, which means from that date there is only 54days to Christmas and 60 remaining to 2010.

With that in mind we have great member events in store for our end of year parties. Christmas lunch is on the 20th December this year, our chef has created a terrific menu for you to enjoy, a good opportunity to spend time with your families. New Years Eve we have a night to remember planned for you, with a popular DJ and Live Entertainment, as well as a feast fit for a king. During the month of October our club held its Annual Ladies open. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank our ladies for organising such a successful event. Further I’d like to thank all the sponsors, especially Samsung Air and Taylor Made for their terrific prizes. The Ladies managed to raise R12500 for CANSA on the day. WELLDONE LADIES!!!. Thank you also to some of the partners, who were also involved on the day in setting up holes and entertaining at the wet holes.

We also celebrated our 9th birthday at our 10th Inaugural Cup celebration, well done to all our prize winners on the day. A special thank you to Alan Shuman of Bells and Clive Goss of the Wimpy for not only sponsoring the burger feast at our halfway, but preparing it for us too. Clive tells me his cooking skills are better than his Golf.

For those members who haven’t been to our Friday night Pasta special evening, it’s worth a visit. Not only good value for money at only R35.00 for any Pasta dish, including a variety of breads, we also have LIVE ENTERTAINMENT to keep you entertained, and unwind after a busy week. No cover charge, so bring your friends and family along to join in the fun.
