GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE UPDATE Bunker Program * Revetting of bunkers, on the 3rd Hole * Bunkers completed on Holes 2,3,4,5,7. By January 2009 we should finish the front nine and by early 2009 we will start the back nine.
Tee - Program We have completed our tee-program, which consisted of Laser Leveling all Club Tees and planting up of Rye (cool season grass) - this has been a huge success. In the near future all other Tees will follow the same program which will improve our Golf Course. Effluent Dam Due to the South Easter Winds which causes havoc with our watering of the golf course and the blockage of our Pump System in season we had no choice but to upgrade our existing facility at a cost of R280 000.00. If you have played a round in the last two months you will agree it was money very well spent, so this bides well for the future of Atlantic Beach Golf Club.
